Our IGCSE subjects

Most of our subjects are Pearson Edexcel International GCSEs. Psychology, Sociology and Media Studies are OxfordAQA International GCSEs, and Malay is taken as Cambridge IGCSE Malay – Foreign Language. New to the IGCSE? Our guide to IGCSE at EdQuest explains the qualification, the exam boards and exam sessions.

Chosen for the future. Every subject on our list is here because it prepares students for what comes next. Rather than keeping subjects that are out of step with the skills young people need, we focus on strong communication in more than one language, science, digital skills, business, understanding people and society, and global awareness.

Linear

All exams are sat together at the end of the course.

Linear or modular

Pearson also offers a modular route, so units can be sat in different exam series and resat one at a time. How linear and modular exams work.

Languages

Clear, confident communication comes first. English is our priority, alongside Malay and Mandarin.

English at EdQuest. First Language English is our goal for every student, and we build and train our students towards it from day one. For students who are still building their English, English as a Second Language is available as an option, so they can grow in confidence at the right pace.
