Sister school programme
Sister School Programme with Global Islamic School, Indonesia
In August 2026, we began a sister school programme with Global Islamic School in Indonesia. Primary and secondary students from our Ipoh campus and our centres across Malaysia are meeting their Indonesian peers in four online sessions, running until November 2026, to share school life, culture, traditions, favourite pastimes and ideas for protecting the environment. The first session, held on 13 August 2026, focused on personal activities at and after school, with student presentations on topics such as learning how to be a global citizen, using AI to learn and extracurricular activities.

Parents' Private Talk
On 10 July 2025, we welcomed a group of parents to our school in Ipoh for a Parents' Private Talk. Our team explained how our modular education system is changing the way children learn, making lessons more effective, more engaging and focused on results. Parents were impressed by our transparent approach, our passionate educators and the real success stories they heard.

School Trip to Taiping and Kuala Kangsar
Our students spent a day on an educational trip to some of Perak's most iconic spots in Taiping and Kuala Kangsar. At Taiping Zoo, Malaysia's oldest zoo, they got up close with a variety of animals, learned about wildlife conservation and enjoyed a tram ride through the zoo. At the Telegraph Museum in Taiping, they explored the history of communication in Malaysia, saw vintage telegraph equipment and even tried out Morse code for themselves. The day ended at Victoria Bridge in Kuala Kangsar, one of the oldest railway bridges in Malaysia, where students walked across the bridge, admired the views and learned about its importance during the colonial era.

School Trip to Papan
On 26 October 2024, our students spent a day in Papan, a historic tin-mining town about 15 km from Ipoh. On a guided heritage walk, they looked at a map of Papan in 1907 and a model of the old town, listened to talks outside the town's old wooden houses and shophouses, and saw Rumah Besar Raja Bilah, the grand house built in 1896 by Raja Bilah, the Mandailing headman of Papan. They also visited a room filled with Chinese calligraphy scrolls and red couplets. Later, at Papan Roses Horse Park, the park's staff helped children up onto the horses, and everyone gathered in the riding arena for a group photo.

Field Trip to Qing Xin Ling Leisure & Cultural Village, Ipoh
In April 2024, our students visited Qing Xin Ling Leisure & Cultural Village in Taman Saikat, Ipoh, a lakeside cultural village at the foot of the Gunung Rapat limestone hills. The group gathered at the entrance before setting off, then explored in small groups, sheltering under umbrellas from the morning sun and working through a worksheet quiz together. Students also stopped for photos by the lake, with the limestone cliffs behind them.

Guest Talk: Overcoming Procrastination
On 21 March 2024, we were delighted to host Associate Professor Dr Bhajan Lal Rahanu, a Chartered Chemist from the Chemical Engineering Department at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), for a talk on overcoming procrastination. Dr Rahanu shared practical strategies to stop putting things off and make the most of every moment, including the Pomodoro Principle and visualisation. Our students left inspired to put his tips into action and tackle their goals head-on.

School Trip to Gua Tempurung
On 20 April 2023, our students explored Gua Tempurung, a limestone cave near Gopeng, Perak. Following the cave's lit walkways and stairs, they passed towering limestone formations, crossed huge chambers and climbed through narrow rock tunnels. Our founder joined the trip and stopped for a photo with three of the guides.

A Visit to a Dance Studio
Our students paid a visit to a dance studio, where framed black-and-white dance photographs were on display around the room. Seated on the studio floor, they learned from a dancer, then took turns presenting in small groups. The visit ended with a group photo in the studio.
